How Acupuncture Helps with a Range of Injuries:

Acute Injury

The body’s response to an acute injury can lead to swelling, muscle tension, stiffness, and pain. In order for the body to regain optimal health, acupuncture is used to free up blockages, release muscle tension and trigger points and promote healing and recovery.

Chronic Injury

Injuries that are ignored or mistreated over time can begin to break down the bodies energy levels and usually lead to subsequent injuries in surrounding areas. Acupuncture enables the body to heal and build qi (energy) levels, allowing the natural healing process of the body to maximize recovery.

Trigger Points or Tension

Acupuncture is an effective way to release trigger points in the body, particularly when you have increased sensitivity in the area. Using sports massage to release a trigger point can be painful. Acupuncture uses a tiny needle that allows access into muscles without causing excessive muscle tears or bruising and quickly releases the trigger point.
